Cofounder, sound man
As Cofounder of the Christian Spirit Band, I am Ana's other half. Through prayer
and God's guidance, we make all decisions about Spirit Enterprises together. We
are one. If I'm not by her side, I am the sound man during live performances.
I've always loved music. I grew up playing traditional music in school. Clarinet
was my first instrument, then I graduated to bass clarinet, and finally played
snare drums in my high school marching band in Kansas. Later, I graduated from
Kansas University with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism.
Currently, I am a photojournalist at NBC TV Channel 3 in Cleveland, Ohio. I have
been nominated for 3 Emmys for my videography work. "Erie Ship Wrecks" was one of
the nominated stories. I dove 120 feet to the bottom of Lake Erie. It was awesome!
Most of the time, from May to October I'm fishing Lake Erie for walleye and perch.
In my 12-year career, I have covered everything from Presidential visits to natural
disasters. Covering these stories I can see how God work's miracles in ever day
life. I have seen people lose everything they have, but their crucifix still hangs
on the wall untouched. I also covered 911 and went to Ground Zero. It was amazing
to see the Twin Towers completely destroyed, yet the church next to them was
intact. After covering catastrophies, I realized that only God knows when your time
is up, so we have to be ready for Him.
My passion is my family, and God keeps our family together through all of life's
challenges. Being married to Ana is one of the greatest gifts from God and every
day with her is a day to rejoice. We share our happiness with our three children
Sydney, Shane, and our newest memberLuke. All of our kids enjoy music and
hope to follow in Ana's footsteps some day.
