Cofounder of Spirit Enterprises/ Lead Singer
I am a former anchor reporter for the local NBC affiliate in Cleveland. I spent 7 years climbing
the corporate ladder working toward becoming a famous television anchor. My educaton at Loyola
University in Chicago and professional experience as a reporter and anchor have been invaluable.
God was preparing me for something else, something much bigger than myself.
I've always loved to sing! While I was reporting in different states, I always made time to join
a choir. I also managed to study voice for 6 years. In my life time, I have had the honor to sing
at many venues which include The
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland
City Hall, and the Cleveland
Convocation Center.
When I came to Cleveland, I did a story on a Spanish church, La
Sagrada Familia, that was being built on the west side of Cleveland. I joined their choir,
and God continued to work in my heart. While I sang the church's Christian songs, Jesus transformed
me. I found humility, peace, compassion, righteousness, love, hope and forgiveness. Many times
as I sang, I found myself overcome with emotion, joy, and peace. This still happens to me today!
I wanted people to feel this happiness that comes from truly allowing God in your heart. I left
a good job to sing the Lord's praises! Singing and bringing people to God via music has become
my passion. The Christian Spirit Band is God's plan.
The Christian Spirit Band and its members are truly God sent. God answered my prayers! I love them
all! They are part of my familia. I am constantly amazed by their many talents. The Christian Spirit
Band is working on its first CD.
I know I am a blessed woman, and every day I thank God. I have beeen
blessed with a voice, a gift from my late mother, Ana Maria Garcia.
I thank God my mom made me learn Spanish. I have been blessed with
a wonderful courageous father, Julio Lopez, his daily strength, courage
and determination is inspiring. The Cajigases and Sniders have been
my support system. I love and adore my husband, Shane, and my children:
Sydney, Shane Julio and Luke.
I'm not saying my road has been easy. I've had a lot of blessings. There have also been many struggles
and tribulations.. But it's my faith in God that keeps me strong. Thanks to God, I know who I am,
I know what I am about, and I know where I am going. Where God leads me...
My gift to you is my song. God's gift to you is His unfailing love for you...
